Frame Builder lets users create frame members from a library of profile templates. Create Beams, Angles, Round Tubes, Square Tubes, Aluminum T-Slot Extrusions, Lumber, Any Profile You Want! Add any profile to the library and then create frame members nearly effortlessly. The frame members can be built by edge, and point to point– Distances are automatically calculated! Constraints are automatically Added! Miter corners, extends, trims, and copes can be easily done.

Profile Templates
Profile Templates are simply Alibre Part files that need a single extruded feature created from a closed sketch. Optionally the Profile Templates may contain a sketch used for coping other parts.
Example Library Hierarchy
The Library is organized using the hierarchical structure of folders. This can be customized by the user. The Library Location must be configured in the Settings. It can be up to 3 folder layers deep with the profile parts in the last folder level.

What About Software Updates?
Frame Builder is a one-time purchase that includes minor version updates of Frame Builder but not major version updates of Frame Builder. I will do minor version updates of Frame Builder even for major version updates of Alibre Design but once I release a new major version I will no longer maintain the previous major version. For example if you bought Frame Builder V1.1 (which was for Alibre Design V22) you still get update V1.9 included (which works on Alibre Design V26), but you won’t get V2.0
